Bradford Waste Traders dates back to 1964. The company was founded by David and Richard Sandham. The brothers came from a butchering background, collecting livestock on a small scale before moving into scrap metal, rags and woollens collections.

Bradford Waste Traders was originally known as D & R Sandham and was based in Horsforth. The company then moved to Bradford in 1968 when it became the well-known local waste trader for the Bradford region.

The story of Bradford Waste Traders is a very interesting read. It gives a great insight into how the company came about and the family bond that it was built from.
